About Friars Primary School and Nursery

We are incredibly lucky at Friars Primary School and Nursery as we have lots of space! Within our grounds, we have age specific play areas, physical trails, an environmental garden and an outdoor stage. Our indoor space is equally impressive and our large classrooms provide a stimulating learning environment in which our children develop as effective learners.

"Wonderful School!"

I've been thoroughly impressed with the progress my child has made at Friars Primary. The staff are kind, supportive and knowledgeable. The facilities, especially the outdoor stage, are fantastic! My child loves attending and I'm so grateful for the education they're receiving.

"Mixed Experience"

My child is enjoying their time at Friars, but we've experienced some inconsistencies in communication from the teachers. The school's values and focus on respect are great, but there are areas where we feel the school could improve. Still, we're willing to give it another year.

"Excellent Learning Environment!"

The classroom setup and resources are amazing - I've seen my child thrive in this environment. The teachers are engaging and the children are always enthusiastic about learning. We're really happy with the school's values and the way they promote respect and empathy.

"Supportive Staff!"

My children attended Friars and I was consistently impressed with the level of support from the staff. They went above and beyond to ensure my children felt comfortable and confident in their learning. Unfortunately, the PE facilities could be improved, but overall a great school.
