About New Horizons School (Part of the Sabden Multi Academy Trust)

We are a Trust of 3 special schools and a Vocational Alternative Provision. Many of our pupils have experienced difficulties in their previous educational placements; demonstrate challenging behaviour and have social, emotional, mental health (SEMH) difficulties.

"New Horizons School - A Great Place for Challenging Children"

As a former parent, I can genuinely say that New Horizons School provided my child with the support and care they needed. The school's values of warmth, care, and stability really shine through in the way they support pupils with SEMH difficulties. I'm so grateful for the experience we had.

"Excellent School Experience"

We've had an excellent experience at New Horizons School. The staff are passionate about supporting pupils with SEMH difficulties, and my child has thrived in the supportive environment. The school's commitment to relationship-based therapeutic interventions is fantastic, and I'm so grateful for the care they've shown my child.

"A Good School with Room for Improvement"

My child has been happy at New Horizons School, and I appreciate the effort the staff put into creating a supportive environment. However, I do think there could be more opportunities for parental involvement and communication. Overall, I'm satisfied with the school, but there's room for improvement.

"A Wonderful School for My Child"

I have been impressed by the warm and supportive environment at New Horizons School. The staff are caring and go out of their way to ensure my child feels safe and happy. The facilities are excellent, and the school's commitment to self-regulation strategies is a huge benefit.
