About Broomley First School

Broomley First School is a very popular village school for 4-9 year olds located in Stocksfield, Northumberland. The school is set within a beautiful Victorian building which is over 10 years old. At Broomley we thoroughly believe that the children are at the heart of everything we do.

"Wonderful School for My Child"

We are so happy with the care and education that Broomley First School provides for our child. The Victorian building is a lovely place to learn and the teachers are all so supportive and enthusiastic. My child loves the 'Be happy, work hard' values that they promote and the Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths Week is a great way to encourage interest in STEM subjects.

"A Great Community Feel"

We moved to the area recently and were so pleased to find a warm and welcoming school like Broomley First. The Early Years curriculum seems well-structured and our child has settled in quickly. The Broomley PTA organise lots of fun events that the whole family can get involved in, which is great for building community connections.

"Mixed Feelings"

We had a generally positive experience at Broomley First, but there were some issues with communication from the school. The Learning Links program was very helpful in supporting our child's learning needs, but we sometimes struggled to get information about what was happening in class. The school has a lovely atmosphere and the staff are all very friendly, but we felt a bit frustrated at times.
