About Woodhouse Academy

We are a collaborative and purposeful community with excellent teaching and learning. Our children are at the heart of everything we do and nothing gives us more pleasure than watching them flourish, recognise their own strengths, and leave our school fully prepared for their onward journey.

"Fantastic support from staff!"

I've been impressed with the way the staff at Woodhouse Academy support my child, particularly the form tutors like Mrs Hirst. They make sure my daughter feels secure and confident, and the values they teach really resonate with us at home. We're so grateful to be a part of this community!

"Room for improvement, but great potential"

We're still adjusting to the school's policies and procedures, but we're excited to see our child grow and develop. The teachers seem enthusiastic and committed, and the facilities are impressive. However, we've noticed a few issues with communication from the school - hoping this will improve over time.

"Excellent extracurricular opportunities!"

My son has really thrived at Woodhouse Academy, especially with the sports program. He's joined the basketball team and loves competing against other schools. The after-school clubs are a great way to keep him active and engaged outside of lessons.

"Wonderful community spirit"

I was a parent at Woodhouse Academy a few years ago, and I'm still impressed with the community spirit. The annual fairs and events are always a highlight, and the staff are so welcoming and supportive. I'm so glad my child had the chance to experience this school.
