Venerable Bede CE Academy is a popular and vibrant secondary school serving our local community. We are a church of England Academy and pride ourselves on our Christian ethos, which is underpinned by five values; each of these values is explored as a theme in each year group.

"A Mixed Experience"

My child is still settling into Venerable Bede CE Academy and it's been a bit of a mixed experience so far. The staff seem very supportive but the transition process could be smoother. I'm hoping things will improve as the year goes on.

"Fantastic School with Great Values"

I'm so impressed with the values that Venerable Bede CE Academy teach the children. My son is in Year 10 and he's really grown in his understanding of the importance of forgiveness and perseverance. The facilities are also excellent, especially the new reading room that Dan Smith opened.

"Love the Student Leadership Programme"

My daughter is really enjoying the student leadership programme at Venerable Bede CE Academy. She's learning so much about how to communicate effectively and work with others. The staff are also very supportive and it's great to see the children taking ownership of their learning.

"Great Experience for My Child"

I have fond memories of my time at Venerable Bede CE Academy. My child was well supported by the staff and made some great friends. The facilities have improved since I was there and it's great to see the school continuing to thrive.
