About Esteem South Academy

Esteem South Academy is an alternative provision school for students who have been, or are at risk of being, excluded from mainstream schools. Located in South Derbyshire, our main goal is to get vulnerable children back into learning by creating a supportive and effective educational environment. We believe all young people deserve the same high standards of education.

"A Second Chance for My Son"

I was hesitant to send my son to Esteem South Academy, but it's been a game-changer for him. The teachers are understanding and patient, and the programs they offer are really helping him catch up on his schoolwork. He's even started to enjoy learning again!

"Supportive and Caring Environment"

I'm so grateful to Esteem South Academy for giving my son the chance to turn his life around. The staff are supportive and caring, and the facilities are perfect for his needs. I love how they focus on respect, resilience, and responsibility - it's exactly what he needed.

"A Work in Progress"

I'm still figuring out whether Esteem South Academy is the right fit for my daughter. On the one hand, the staff are friendly and the facilities are nice, but on the other hand, I'm not sure if they're doing enough to challenge her academically. We'll keep working with them to see if we can make it work.
