Maes Derw

Maes Derw is a Pupil Referral Unit located at 231 Cockett Road, Cockett, Swansea, serving learners aged 5 to 16 who experience social, emotional, behavioural, or mental health difficulties. It caters to children with additional learning needs who are typically unable to manage in mainstream schools. The unit supports reintegration of learners back into mainstream education where possible. Maes Derw is noted for being the first pupil referral unit in Wales to achieve the Bronze and Silver Active Travel School Awards, highlighting its commitment to promoting active travel and wellbeing among its students.
