About Eldene Nursery and Primary School

Welcome to Eldene School - an inclusive 2-form entry nursery and primary school in south-east Swindon. Our school community is made up of classes from Reception to Year 6 and a nursery class for 3 and 4 year olds. One of our junior classes is a ‘Special Resourced Provision’.

"Mixed Feelings"

We've had a mixed experience at Eldene. Our son is in Year 2, and while he's made some great friends, we've had some concerns about the curriculum and the level of support for children with special needs. The facilities are impressive, but we feel that the school could do more to engage with parents and provide more opportunities for us to get involved.

"Eldene School: Exceptional Community!"

My daughter attended Eldene Nursery and Primary School for three years, and we were constantly impressed with the warm, inclusive community. The facilities are excellent, and the staff are dedicated to providing a supportive learning environment. We felt truly valued as a family, and our daughter thrived during her time there. We're grateful for the memories and friendships we made.

"A Positive Learning Experience"

Our son is in Year 4 at Eldene, and we've been pleased with his progress. The school's values of 'work together, learn together, succeed together' are evident in the way the staff and children interact. We appreciate the regular updates and opportunities for parents to get involved. The facilities are great, especially the outdoor spaces, which encourage active play and exploration.
