Highworth Warneford School

Highworth Warneford School is a coeducational secondary school located in Highworth, north of Swindon, Wiltshire, England, serving students aged 11-16. Originally established as Warneford Secondary Modern School in 1957, the school was modernized and renamed in 1975, with the main buildings from the original school still in use today. The school has undergone constant expansions over the decades, including the addition of a sports hall. Previously a community school administered by Swindon Borough Council, it converted to academy status in July 2011 and joined The Park Academies Trust in September 2023. Under the leadership of Principal Sophie Hesten, the school aims to create a warm, safe, and ambitious environment that supports all pupils to achieve through academic challenge, diverse experiences, and a wide range of opportunities.
