We are a small, friendly, village primary school in North Yorkshire, serving the village of Saxton and its surrounding area. We are a 'hidden gem', and we are incredibly proud that we can offer a great education and caring environment to children within our small setting.

"Fantastic school!"

We moved to the area and were blown away by the warm welcome we received at Saxton. My child has thrived in the small class sizes and I love the emphasis on values and friendship. The outdoor facilities are amazing and the staff are always approachable. We feel so lucky to be a part of this community.

"A hidden gem!"

I was hesitant about sending my child to a small school, but Saxton has exceeded all our expectations. The staff are caring and attentive, and my child loves the mixed-age classes. We've also been impressed by the wraparound care and breakfast club - it's made a huge difference to our mornings. Thank you, Saxton!

"Good but could improve"

My child had a great experience at Saxton, but we did struggle with some of the online communication systems. I also felt that the school could do more to engage with parents who don't have kids in the same class. That being said, the staff are lovely and the outdoor spaces are fantastic. Would recommend with some caveats.
