About Kickstart Academy

Kickstart Academy is a key stage 4 (years 10 and 11) alternative provision based in Telford, and became part of the Learning Community Trust in September 2023. We provide learning programmes for 60 students who are referred from within the Telford and Wrekin area. Our ethos at Kickstart is for students to learn and develop as a young person in the most positive way possible.

"Wonderful Support and Facilities"

Kickstart Academy has been a game-changer for my son. The staff are incredibly supportive and have helped him develop a love for learning. We're so grateful for the facilities and programs they offer, particularly the 'Kickstart Engage' program. We highly recommend Kickstart Academy.

"A Mixed Experience"

We've had a bit of a mixed experience with Kickstart Academy. The staff have been great and the facilities are good, but we've sometimes struggled with communication and getting updates on our son's progress. Overall, we're grateful for the opportunities they've provided, but there's definitely room for improvement.

"Excellent Care and Guidance"

My daughter attended Kickstart Academy a few years ago and we were blown away by the care and guidance she received. The staff are truly dedicated to helping students succeed, and the 'Kickstart Empower' program was a huge help in supporting her SEMH needs.
