About The Sallygate School

The Sallygate School is a values-led, trauma-informed school that provides full-time education for boys and girls aged 8-17 with complex social and emotional difficulties. We aim to provide a safe, inclusive culture where each child's story is understood and respected. Our four core values are Respect, Kindness, Resilience, and Tolerance.

"Life changing experience for our family"

We have been blown away by the kindness, care and dedication of the staff at Sallygate. The therapy program has genuinely helped our child to deal with anxiety and develop resilience. The values of the school are evident in every interaction and we feel grateful to be part of the community.

"Excellent education and support for our child"

We had a very positive experience at Sallygate and our child made great progress academically and emotionally. The school's focus on trauma-informed practice and the therapy program were particularly impressive. We would definitely recommend the school to other families.

"Some improvements needed but overall a good experience"

We have been pleased with the support and care our child has received at Sallygate, but sometimes feel that communication with teachers could be better. The school's values and approach to therapy are really positive and our child has made some good friends. Overall, we feel that our child is in a good place.
