About Ecclesbourne Primary School

The Pegasus Academy Trust began its work at Ecclesbourne Primary School in April 2011 and we call the school our 'hidden gem'. This is the home page for the Whitehorse Schools site at Brigstock Road which opened in September 2014.

"Excellent School Experience"

We've been at Ecclesbourne Primary School for 3 years now and have had a fantastic experience. The staff are caring, the facilities are excellent and the values of the school really shine through in the way they treat the children. We especially love the breakfast club and after-school care options.

"Nice School, But Could Improve"

We've been at Ecclesbourne Primary School for a year now and have had some positive experiences. The school has a great ethos and the kids seem to enjoy the extracurricular activities on offer. However, we've noticed that the school can be a bit disorganized at times, especially with drop-off and pick-up.

"A School That Truly Cares"

My child attended Ecclesbourne Primary School for 3 years and I was blown away by the level of care and attention they received. The teachers were all very supportive and the school's 'Pegasus people' values really shone through in the way they treated the children. They also have some great programs for parents to get involved in, which was lovely.
