Stoke Gabriel Primary is a thriving friendly school in the beautiful village of Stoke Gabriel which is situated on a creek of the River Dart. Our school achieves high academic standards through the provision of an exciting curriculum that makes the most of our beautiful surroundings, a caring, nurturing environment with a family atmosphere and a team of dedicated staff, parents and Governors who strive to meet the requirements of every child.

"Mixed feelings"

We're still relatively new to Stoke Gabriel Primary, but we have mixed feelings about the school. On the one hand, the staff are lovely and the facilities are great. On the other hand, we've found the communication between home and school to be a bit patchy at times. We're hoping that as our son settles in, things will improve.

"Fantastic school in a beautiful setting"

We moved to Stoke Gabriel from the city and were blown away by the warm welcome from the staff and the sense of community. The school's focus on outdoor learning and its use of the beautiful surroundings is a real strength. Our son has thrived here and we feel lucky to have found such a wonderful school.

"Our son loved every minute of it"

We were sad to leave Stoke Gabriel when we moved away, but we were so grateful for the amazing education and experiences our son had while he was there. The school's values of kindness, respect and responsibility really shine through in the way the children are taught and the way they behave. We've recommended the school to everyone we know!
