Tiffield Academy

Tiffield Academy is a brand new special school located near Towcester, Northamptonshire, opening in September 2025. It serves children and young people aged 4 to 18 with autism, Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN), and Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD). The school is part of the Greenwood Academies Trust and was developed in partnership with West Northamptonshire Council and construction experts Willmott Dixon. It is housed in a purpose-built, inclusive facility on St John's Road, Tiffield, designed to support sensory learning differences with bespoke learning spaces, sensory rooms, a soft playroom, rebound therapy room, and expansive outdoor play areas. The academy emphasizes kindness, curiosity, and ambition, aiming to provide a safe, supportive environment that nurtures both academic and emotional growth. It will initially open with 142 places and expand to a full capacity of 230 students, all of whom have Education, Health, and Care (EHC) Plans.
