About Oakley School

Oakley School is a district Special School for children and young people from 3 to 19 years with a wide range of special educational needs. Our mission is to give all our children and young people opportunities to engage, explore, discover and develop their independence. We promote 'Skills for Life and Independence' so that when pupils leave Oakley School they are prepared for the next phase in their lives.

"A Home from Home"

Oakley School has been an absolute haven for my child. The way they've been able to adapt to her needs and provide a safe, supportive environment has given me so much peace of mind. The staff are truly passionate and dedicated, and it's clear that every child is valued and encouraged to thrive.

"Exceptional Support"

My child has struggled with anxiety in the past, but the team at Oakley School have been incredibly supportive in helping her to overcome it. The therapy sessions and individualised lessons have been a game-changer, and I've seen a huge improvement in her confidence and engagement.

"Wonderful School"

We were so impressed with the facilities and resources at Oakley School - my child loved the arts and crafts sessions, and the outdoor spaces are just fantastic. The staff were always approachable and communicative, and we felt really supported throughout our time there. We're so grateful to have had the chance to be part of the Oakley community.
