About Dorchester St Birinus Church of England School

We are an aspirational and ambitious school where all children are welcomed and valued as individuals. The staff work hard to ensure that children in our care, not only make great academic progress, but that they encounter a broad curriculum and get lots of opportunities to experience a wide variety of activities. We aim to create happy, healthy, informed individuals here at Dorchester St Birinus.

"Wonderful school with amazing facilities!"

I can honestly say that Dorchester St Birinus has exceeded all my expectations. The staff are so friendly and welcoming, and the facilities are fantastic. My child loves the forest school and is always excited to tell me about the adventures they have. We're so grateful to be a part of this community.

"Great school, lovely values"

We've had a wonderful experience at St Birinus so far. The values of compassion, knowledge, and diversity are really evident in the way the staff interact with the children. My child is thriving and I love the way they encourage independence and curiosity.

"Excellent education and lovely community"

We moved out of the area a year ago but I still keep in touch with friends I made at St Birinus. The school provided an excellent education for our child and we appreciated the way they encouraged us to be involved in the community. The forest school was a highlight for our child - they loved the adventures and learning opportunities.

"Some positives, but room for improvement"

We've had a mixed experience at St Birinus so far. On the one hand, the staff are friendly and the facilities are great. On the other hand, we've had some issues with communication and our child has struggled to settle in. With a bit of tweaking, I think this school has the potential to be amazing.
