About Fitzwaryn School

Fitzwaryn School is an Outstanding Special School for children and young people from 3 – 19 years old whose Special Educational Needs range from Moderate Learning Difficulties through to Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties. We have a fantastic, up to the minute, purpose built environment that enables us to deliver an exciting and diverse curriculum for each and every child.

"Exceptional Experience for Our Daughter"

We've been blown away by the dedication and enthusiasm of the staff at Fitzwaryn. The facilities are fantastic, and our daughter has loved participating in the Horticulture program and weekly PE sessions. We feel so grateful to have our daughter's needs met in such a supportive and inclusive environment.

"Excellent Support for Our Son"

Fitzwaryn has been a game-changer for our son, who has complex needs. The staff have been incredibly accommodating and have worked tirelessly to ensure he receives the best possible education. The Duke of Edinburgh Award program has been particularly beneficial for his confidence and skills.

"Room for Improvement, but Overall a Good Experience"

Our child has been at Fitzwaryn for a few years now, and while we appreciate the efforts made to accommodate her needs, there have been some issues with communication and consistency. However, the staff are generally supportive, and we've seen some positive progress in her learning and independence.

"Thoroughly Impressed with Fitzwaryn"

My son attended Fitzwaryn from Reception to Year 11, and we were consistently impressed with the school's commitment to providing a rich and diverse curriculum. The staff were always willing to go the extra mile to support our son's needs, and we feel grateful for the skills and confidence he gained during his time there.
