Jenyns First School and Nursery

My daughter has been at Jenyns for 4 years now and we've found the school to be an absolute gem. The staff are caring, supportive and go above and beyond to make sure every child feels included. The emphasis on 'respect, nurturing growth and inspiring ambition' has really resonated with us as parents and we've seen our child grow in confidence and self-esteem.

We've been at Jenyns for 2 years now and while we've seen our child make some great friends, we've had some concerns about the school's approach to discipline. The values of respect, positivity and ambition are great in theory, but we've felt that these haven't always been consistently applied. However, we do appreciate the school's efforts to engage with parents and keep us informed about what's going on.

We moved to the area 3 years ago and my son started at Jenyns in Reception. The school has a lovely atmosphere and the staff are very welcoming. The open morning we attended was well-organised and gave us a great insight into school life. We've been really impressed with the school's commitment to Forest School and the EYFS curriculum.
