About Lulworth and Winfrith CofE Primary School

We are a small school in a rural setting along the Jurassic coast. Our school spans two sites with Reception, Years 1 and 2 being based at Winfrith and Years 3 to 6 learning at Lulworth. At Lulworth and Winfrith Primary we aim to provide the highest standards of teaching and learning for all of our children to enable each individual to excel in their education, within a caring and positive environment driven by a strong Christian ethos.

"Mixed feelings"

We're generally happy with Lulworth and Winfrith, but feel that the school could improve in a few areas. The facilities are great, but we've had some issues with communication from the teachers. Our child is happy and learning well, but we're not entirely convinced about the school's approach to phonics.

"Excellent school for our children!"

We moved to the area two years ago and were so pleased to find Lulworth and Winfrith Primary. The teachers are kind, supportive, and really care about the children. Our child has thrived here and we love the emphasis on values and community.

"Great school, great people!"

We sent our child to Lulworth and Winfrith from reception to year 5 and had a fantastic experience. The school's commitment to coastal learning and the arts was really unique and engaging for our child. We're so grateful for the education they received here.
