Chessbrook is an exceptionally successful organisation which proudly serves its family of schools within South West Hertfordshire, providing support to approximately 1,000 local children, young people and families each year. At Chessbrook, we are dedicated to fostering success and providing exceptional support to our network of schools and families across South West Hertfordshire. "Outstanding Support for Our Children"

We've been incredibly impressed with the dedication and expertise of the staff at Chessbrook. Our son was struggling at his previous school, but since joining Chessbrook, he's developed a newfound confidence and love for learning. The personal learning mentors and the focus on the values of Courage, Pride, and Resilience have been particularly effective in helping him thrive.

"A Safe and Supportive Environment"

We've been really happy with the warm welcome our daughter has received at Chessbrook. The school's emphasis on building resilience and confidence has been fantastic, and we love the opportunity for our child to participate in the Duke of Edinburgh Award scheme. The facilities are also impressive, with plenty of opportunities for our child to engage in extracurricular activities.

"Mixed Experience"

We had a bit of a mixed experience at Chessbrook. Our older child thrived at the school and benefited from the one-to-one support and the emphasis on vocational skills. However, our younger child struggled to adjust to the pace and style of the lessons. While the staff were always helpful, we felt that there could have been more flexibility in terms of supporting our child's individual needs.
