About High Point Academy

High Point Academy is an 11-16 Special day School situated in Wednesbury. All pupils currently on role have a statement of special educational needs or an Education Health and Care Plan along with a diagnosis of ASC. The school provides places for children with Autistic Spectrum Conditions (ASC) and associated Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD) or Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN).

"Our Experience at High Point Academy"

We've had the most wonderful experience at High Point Academy. The staff are caring, the facilities are excellent, and the values of Ambitious Aspirations, Challenge the Impossible, and Independence for All are truly embedded in the school's ethos. Our child has flourished here, and we couldn't be more grateful.

"Some Ups and Downs"

Our experience at High Point Academy has been mixed. The staff are generally lovely, but we've sometimes struggled with communication and consistency. However, our child has made some wonderful friends and has enjoyed the opportunities provided by the school. We're hoping to see some improvements in the next year.

"Preparing Our Child for the Future"

High Point Academy has done an incredible job of preparing our child for life beyond school. The emphasis on independence, confidence, and resilience is outstanding, and we've seen our child grow into a capable and confident young person. We're so proud of them!

"A Positive Experience"

We were impressed by the school's commitment to supporting children with ASC and associated needs. Our child received high-quality teaching and care, and we appreciated the regular updates and communication from the staff. While there were some challenges, we're grateful for the experience.
