About Highfield Nursery School

We are a Maintained Nursery School and Day Nursery providing a wide range of educational and care places for children from the age of six months to aged five. The Centre is open all year Monday to Friday from 8am to 6pm. We have a dedicated team of nursery practitioners, teachers and leaders who are passionate for providing the highest quality of care and education for all children.

"Wonderful experience at Highfield Nursery School"

My child has been attending Highfield Nursery School for over a year now, and I couldn't be happier with the care and education they receive. The staff are friendly, approachable, and always willing to help. The school's focus on play-based learning has been amazing to see, and my child has made tremendous progress. I highly recommend this school to any parent looking for a nurturing and stimulating environment.

"Great school with a strong sense of community"

Highfield Nursery School has been a fantastic choice for our family. The staff are warm and welcoming, and the school's focus on community and social skills has been a big plus. The facilities are excellent, and my child has loved the play-based learning approach. I would definitely recommend this school to any parent looking for a supportive and inclusive environment.

"Excellent school with a great focus on values"

I'm so impressed with the values-based approach at Highfield Nursery School. The staff genuinely care about the children and strive to create a positive, supportive environment. My child has thrived in this setting, making great friends and learning so much. The facilities are also excellent, with plenty of space for play and exploration.

"Decent experience, but some minor issues"

My child attended Highfield Nursery School a few years ago, and while they received a solid education, we experienced some issues with communication and organisation. The staff were generally friendly, but sometimes seemed overwhelmed. The facilities were clean and well-maintained, though. Overall, it was an okay experience, but I wouldn't rave about it.
