About Templewood Primary School

Templewood Primary and Nursery School is a one form entry school based in a Grade 2* listed building. We have a nursery provision on site and are surrounded by nature and open spaces. Our vision is that everyone at Templewood is valued and treated with respect.

"A Wonderful School Community"

We love the welcoming atmosphere at Templewood. The nursery provision and facilities are excellent, and the staff are always willing to go the extra mile to support our child. We appreciate the emphasis on values like Aspiration and Challenge, which encourages our child to be confident and try new things.

"Templewood is an Amazing School"

We have been so impressed with the care and education our child has received at Templewood. The values of Empathy, Honesty, and Perseverance are truly embedded in the curriculum and have helped our child grow into a respectful and confident individual. The forest school area is fantastic and the teachers are always approachable and supportive.

"Good but Could be Improved"

We moved our child to Templewood a few years ago, and while we have seen some improvements in the school, we still feel that some classes could benefit from more resources and support. The Phonics program is excellent, but we've noticed that some children struggle with certain subjects. Overall, though, the school has a lovely atmosphere and the teachers are generally very good.
