About St Helen's Catholic Primary School

St. Helen's Catholic Primary School is the oldest Catholic Primary School in Southend and has been on the present site since 1973. This is an exciting time for our school as we are expanding our school from 1 class per year group to 2 classes per year group. We will continue to ensure that St. Helen’s Catholic Primary School is a warm and friendly community where everyone is valued.

"Overall great experience, but some areas for improvement!"

We've been at St Helen's for a year now and have been generally very happy. The school has a lovely atmosphere and the staff are great. However, we've noticed that the class sizes can be a bit large and the school meals could be improved. Still, we feel our child is happy and thriving, and that's what matters most!

"Fantastic School and Community!"

We've been at St Helen's for 3 years now and it's been an incredible experience for our child. The facilities are fantastic, especially the adventure playgrounds and nature area. The staff are always friendly and supportive, and the values of respect and kindness are truly embedded in everything they do. We feel so lucky to be part of this wonderful community!

"Wonderful School and Fantastic Memories!"

We were at St Helen's for 5 years and had a truly wonderful experience. The school's commitment to respect and kindness really shines through, and our child made some amazing friends. We're so grateful for the excellent education and the happy memories we made as a family. We highly recommend St Helen's to anyone considering a Catholic primary school in the area!
