Shepherds Down Special School

Shepherds Down has been a game-changer for our child, providing a safe and nurturing environment that fosters learning and growth. The staff are highly skilled and attentive, always willing to go the extra mile to ensure our child's needs are met. We've especially appreciated the school's emphasis on British Values and SMSC, which has really helped our child develop a sense of community and responsibility.

We've been at Shepherds Down for a year now, and while it's been a mixed experience overall, there are some things that we really love about the school. The curriculum is varied and engaging, and the staff are generally friendly and approachable. However, we've had some concerns about the school's communication with parents, which we feel could be improved. We're still deciding whether to stay or not.

Shepherds Down has exceeded our expectations in every way! From the moment we walked through the doors, we were struck by the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The school's commitment to Medical Support and Therapy Provision has been a huge comfort to us, knowing that our child is receiving the best possible care. We've also been impressed by the school's Outreach Team and Community initiatives.

I was a parent at Shepherds Down for several years and can honestly say that it's a truly special school. The staff are dedicated, passionate, and genuinely care about their students. The school's approach to Behaviour and Emotional Regulation is particularly impressive, and I've seen firsthand the positive impact it has had on many children. While we've moved away, our child still speaks fondly of their time at Shepherds Down.
