About Our Lady of Pity Catholic Primary and Nursery School

Our Lady of Pity R.C. Primary School is a unique and wonderful two form entry school community split across two sites in Greasby and Hoylake offering high quality, inclusive education for all. We are very proud of our school and are relentless in pursuing continuous improvement.

"Room for improvement"

We've been reasonably happy with OLOP, but there are a few areas where we feel the school could improve. The communication with parents could be better, and the homework can be a bit too much at times. However, the teachers are generally good, and our child is happy.

"A fantastic school community!"

We've been part of the OLOP community for three years now, and it's been an incredible experience. The teachers are dedicated and passionate, the facilities are excellent, and the sense of belonging is palpable. Our child has grown in confidence and kindness, and we couldn't be prouder.

"Thriving together at OLOP"

We love the ethos of this school, from the 'Do everything with love' motto to the Mini Vinnie's initiative. The teachers are supportive and engaging, and the facilities are modern and well-maintained. Our child is happy and thriving, and we feel welcome and included.

"A truly Catholic education"

We had the pleasure of sending our child to OLOP for six years, and we were consistently impressed with the school's commitment to Catholic values and teachings. The teachers were knowledgeable and passionate, and the extracurricular programs were excellent.
