About CAMHS Phoenix School

CAMHS Phoenix School provides education for patients aged 11-18 years who have been admitted to CAMHS Phoenix Unit at Wokingham Hospital. Admission to our school is by NHS referral only. We work alongside our CAMHS colleagues and education is seen as an integral part of a patient’s recovery.

"A Lifeline for Our Daughter"

Our daughter's experience at CAMHS Phoenix School was truly transformative. The teachers, in particular, went above and beyond to ensure her emotional and educational needs were met. We cannot thank them enough for their kindness, patience, and expertise.

"Outstanding Support for Our Son"

We are so grateful to have found CAMHS Phoenix School. The team has been incredibly supportive and flexible in addressing our son's specific needs. The welcoming environment and bespoke learning programme have made a huge difference to his well-being and academic progress.

"Mixed Feelings About Our Experience"

While we appreciate the school's efforts to create a positive and supportive atmosphere, we felt that the curriculum was not always aligned with our child's interests. Additionally, there were some communication breakdowns between the school and home. Overall, it's been a bit of a mixed bag for us.
