Gorwelion Newydd

Gorwelion Newydd, also known as New Horizons, is a pupil referral unit located in Wrexham that provides education primarily for secondary-aged young people who are unable to attend mainstream schools. It offers a calm, nurturing, and purposeful environment that strongly supports pupils' well-being and learning. The unit focuses on delivering a curriculum aligned with the four purposes of the Welsh curriculum, tailored to learners of differing ages and needs. It is recognized for its supportive atmosphere and positive Estyn inspection reports. The school has around 47 pupils with various special educational needs, including those with statements of SEN.
