About East Coker Community Primary School

We are a seven class village school with a very friendly and caring ethos. The school is set in beautiful surroundings in the village of East Coker which is just on the edge of Yeovil. We have fantastic facilities both in and around school and there is always lots going on for our pupils.

"Exceptional School in a Beautiful Setting"

We've been at East Coker School for 7 years now and can't speak highly enough of it. The facilities are excellent, the staff are caring and dedicated, and the values of respect, courage, and determination are evident in everything they do. Our children have thrived here and we're so grateful to be a part of the community.

"Excellent Education and Facilities"

We've been at East Coker School for 2 years now and are thoroughly impressed. The education is first-class, with a focus on creativity and independence, and the facilities are excellent, with a lovely playground and great classrooms. The staff are always willing to listen and help, and the PTFA does a great job of organizing fun events for the children.

"Lovely School with a Warm Atmosphere"

We sent our two children to East Coker School and had a great experience. The breakfast and after-school clubs were very useful for us and the children loved the after-school activities, such as art and sports. The staff were always friendly and approachable, and the head teacher, Mrs Hesketh-Williams, was a joy to work with.
