Helmsley Community Primary School

We've had a bit of a mixed experience with Helmsley Community Primary School so far. On the one hand, the Early Years provision is excellent and my child loves going to school. However, we've encountered some issues with communication between the school and parents, which has been frustrating at times.

My daughter has been at Helmsley Community Primary School for a year now and I couldn't be happier with the education and care she receives. The school's commitment to their values of kindness, respect and responsibility really shines through in the way the teachers and staff interact with the children. The facilities are also excellent, with a lovely play area and a well-equipped classroom.

I've been impressed with the progress my son has made since starting at Helmsley Community Primary School. The staff are friendly and supportive, and the school's focus on outdoor learning and exploration is wonderful. The Christmas Story competition was a highlight of the year for him!

My kids attended Helmsley Community Primary School a few years ago and had a great experience. The school offered a wide range of activities and clubs, which helped them develop new skills and make friends. The teachers were always approachable and provided individual support when needed.
