Stockton-on-the-Forest Primary School is a small village school situated approximately four miles from the centre of the City of York. A strength of our school is the friendly, family like ethos that enables children to feel safe and develop in confidence during their time with us.

"Wonderful school and community!"

We've been at Stockton-on-the-Forest Primary School for a few years now and I couldn't be happier! The kindness and respect values are something I admire and try to instill in my children. The teachers are all so supportive and the facilities are great - my child loves the playground!

"Top-notch school - 5 stars!"

I have two children at Stockton-on-the-Forest Primary School and I'm consistently impressed with the quality of education and care they receive. The governors are clearly doing a great job and the school's mission to be happy, healthy, and learning for life is something I think they're really achieving.

"A good school, but some issues"

I have mixed feelings about Stockton-on-the-Forest Primary School. My child had a good experience here, but I did find the communication with teachers to be a bit patchy at times. The school's values and facilities are definitely assets, but I think they could improve on some of the support services for families.
