Reach Academy

Reach Academy is a state-funded alternative provision academy located at The Field Hill Centre in Batley, West Yorkshire. It is part of the Ethos Academy Trust and specializes in providing full-time education for Key Stage 3 pupils (ages 11-14) with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP), where Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) is the primary need. The academy operates on a nurture-based approach, offering a stimulating, safe, and welcoming environment with a personalized curriculum designed to support pupils' academic and SEMH needs. The curriculum includes core and non-core subjects aligned with the National Curriculum, alongside personalized interventions, weekly cooking sessions, health and fitness sessions, and community projects to develop life skills and foster responsible citizenship.
