About Spaxton CofE Primary School

We are a small, friendly and welcoming rural school nestled in the foothills of the Quantocks. Our ethos of nurturing children and our high ambition for their educational outcomes, is based around our six core values interpreted from Corinthians Chapter 13: protect, trust, have hope, persevere, show courage and respect.

"Excellent Outdoor Learning Opportunities"

As a former parent, I was blown away by the opportunities for outdoor learning at Spaxton CE Primary School. From wellies to waders, the children are encouraged to explore and learn from the beautiful Quantock surroundings. The school's values of protect, trust, have hope, persevere, show courage and respect are truly inspiring.

"Some Great Things, But Room for Improvement"

We've had a mixed experience at Spaxton CE Primary School. The school uniform is lovely and the teachers are generally supportive. However, we've found the school's approach to phonics to be a bit hit and miss, and our child has struggled with some of the homework. Still, the school's values of protect, trust, have hope, persevere, show courage and respect are definitely something to get behind.
