About Yewdale School

Yewdale Primary School is a warm and welcoming community where every child is encouraged to be the best they can be. Our philosophy for learning is to give every encouragement and opportunity to develop their abilities. We foster a supportive and inspiring environment for pupils through mixed age learning and providing specialist clubs.

"Excellent School with a Caring Community"

We've been absolutely delighted with Yewdale Primary School. From the moment our child started, they've been treated with kindness, respect, and understanding. The mixed-age classrooms have been a great benefit, and the specialist clubs are a wonderful way to encourage children's interests.

"A Warm and Supportive Environment"

My child has grown so much since starting at Yewdale Primary. The teaching staff are always approachable and the facilities are excellent. My only suggestion would be to have more regular communication about events and activities.

"Some Good, Some Room for Improvement"

While my child had a generally positive experience at Yewdale Primary, I did notice that some classes were more well-organized than others. The school's values of respect, responsibility, and resilience are excellent, but I think the school could do more to ensure consistency across all classes.
