"Wonderful Experience at Alvaston Junior Academy"

My son has had a fantastic time at Alvaston Junior Academy! The staff are caring, supportive and really make an effort to get to know each child. The facilities are excellent, especially the outdoor play areas and the inclusion hub. We feel so lucky to have found such a great school.

"Good School, Room for Improvement"

My child is in Year 4 at Alvaston Junior Academy and I've been pleased overall with the school's approach to learning and the facilities they have available. However, I feel that the communication between home and school could be better, and there were a few issues with organisation and timekeeping that we experienced last year. Hopefully, these will be ironed out soon.

"Excellent School with a Great Ethos"

My daughter attended Alvaston Junior Academy from Year 3 to Year 6 and had an amazing experience. The school's values of 'Believe, Achieve, Succeed' really shone through in the way the staff and teachers encouraged and supported her. We were so impressed with the school's commitment to inclusion and the way they catered to her individual needs.
