Monkerton Community Primary School

Monkerton Community Primary School (MCPS) is a primary school located in Exeter, Devon, that opened in September 2020 as part of the Cornerstone Academy Trust (TCAT), a multi-academy trust providing 21st century education. The school serves children aged 2 to 11 years old, including a dedicated nursery provision. Initially, the first cohort of students began their education in two classrooms at Westclyst Community Primary School before moving to the brand new purpose-built facilities at Monkerton in September 2021. The school has been recognized as one of the first National Schools Programme Badged Schools by the Royal Opera House. MCPS emphasizes creating challenging learning environments that inspire children to achieve high standards and become lifelong learners and independent thinkers, with a curriculum personalized to individual student needs. The school utilizes Microsoft Education's Learning Accelerators to enhance teaching and learning outcomes.
