About The Academy of Woodlands

The Academy of Woodlands is a community school, situated in the heart of Gillingham, Kent. As a three-form entry primary school that also welcomes children from the age of 2 into our nursery, we are passionate about the difference we can make to the lives of children, families and the local community not only now but for the future.

"Wonderful inclusive community"

We've had a great experience at The Academy of Woodlands. The school's focus on inclusivity and diversity has been a breath of fresh air for our child. The facilities are amazing, and the staff are always friendly and supportive.

"Excellent school with a caring atmosphere"

The Academy of Woodlands has been fantastic for our child. The teachers are all very approachable and enthusiastic, and the school's emphasis on developing a love of learning has been really successful. We're so grateful to be a part of the community.

"Good experience, some areas for improvement"

We were initially impressed by The Academy of Woodlands, but over time, we felt that the school could have done more to engage with parents. The facilities are great, and the staff are mostly friendly, but we sometimes felt a bit disconnected from the school community.
