Shiplake CE Primary School is a Voluntary Aided Church of England school which currently has 156 children on role. The school encourages the co-operation of each individual to realize his or her own potential across a broad range of skills, within a happy, motivated and friendly community. We work hard to support every child’s progress academically and personally.

"A good school that could improve its communication"

My child is happy at Shiplake CE Primary School, and I appreciate the school's emphasis on learning, innovation, and community. However, I sometimes feel that the school could communicate more clearly with parents about upcoming events and important news. Also, I was a bit disappointed with the standard of the school's ICT facilities.

"A lovely school with a warm community!"

My child has thrived at Shiplake CE Primary School. The staff are caring and supportive, and the values of compassion, wisdom, and equality are genuinely lived out in the school. The PE and sports facilities are excellent too!

"A great school that genuinely cares about each child"

My son attended Shiplake CE Primary School from Reception to Year 6, and I can honestly say that the school provided him with an excellent education and a happy, supportive environment. The school's Christian vision really makes a difference, and the staff are dedicated to helping each child reach their full potential.
