Sele First School is situated in the heart of Hexham surrounded by the beautiful Sele Park and the historic buildings of Hexham Abbey. We aim to provide an exciting, motivating and high quality education for every child through effective organisation, committed knowledgeable staff, challenging expectations and high standards. Our school has a very strong community spirit.

"Excellent Early Years Provision"

The nursery at Sele First School has been a fantastic experience for our little one. The staff are so engaging, and the facilities are top-notch. We love how they incorporate music and movement into their daily activities. We couldn't be happier with our choice!

"Wonderful School Community"

Our family has been absolutely delighted with the Sele First School community. The welcoming atmosphere, the dedicated staff, and the emphasis on values such as kindness and empathy have made a huge impact on our child's confidence and happiness. We feel so lucky to be a part of this school!

"Room for Improvement"

We had a mixed experience at Sele First School. The teachers were lovely, but the communication between staff and parents could be better. The facilities are lovely, but sometimes it feels a bit crowded. Overall, it's a decent school, but we've had to move our child to a different school due to personal reasons.
