About Tweendykes School

Tweendykes is a community special school that caters for pupils with severe learning difficulties and physical disabilities between the ages of 3-19. We strive to provide a curriculum that both motivates our pupils and encourages them to continue learning each and every day.

"An exceptional school!"

We have been absolutely delighted with the care and education provided by Tweendykes. The facilities are outstanding, especially the hydrotherapy pool which has made such a difference to our child's independence. The staff are dedicated and passionate about their work, and we feel so lucky to be part of the school community.

"Some positives, some areas for improvement"

We have had a mixed experience with Tweendykes. On the one hand, our child has really enjoyed the school and the facilities are excellent. However, we have sometimes found communication with the school to be a bit patchy, and we have concerns about the school's handling of certain issues. Overall, we are hopeful that the school will address these issues and continue to improve.

"A fantastic school!"

We are thoroughly impressed with Tweendykes. The school's values of kindness, empathy and respect are evident in every aspect of school life, and our child has thrived in a supportive and inclusive environment. The staff are approachable and understanding, and we feel confident that our child is in good hands.

"An amazing school - sad to leave!"

We were so sad to leave Tweendykes when our child moved on to sixth form, but we will always be grateful for the incredible education and care they received. The school's commitment to providing a rich and varied curriculum, as well as the fantastic facilities, made a real difference to our child's life. We couldn't recommend Tweendykes more highly!
