About Dovery Academy

Dovery Academy is a one form entry lower school, set in extensive woodland grounds, which forms the backdrop to our caring and supportive environment. We aim to provide children with a classical liberal education, regardless of background or ability. Our staff are dedicated practitioners, who have a passion for teaching and the capacity to truly bring learning to life.

"A good school, but some areas for improvement"

We're generally happy with Dovery Academy, but there have been some issues with communication with the teachers and some inconsistencies in the homework policies. That being said, the staff are friendly and the facilities are excellent, and our child is enjoying their time at the school.

"A wonderful community"

I couldn't be happier with Dovery Academy. The staff are so caring and supportive, and the curriculum is engaging and challenging. The woodland grounds are a bonus, providing a peaceful and inspiring environment for the children to learn.

"Exceptional education"

My children attended Dovery Academy from Reception to Year 6, and I was consistently impressed with the quality of teaching and the values that the school instilled in them. The classical liberal education is exactly what we were looking for, and our children have thrived as a result.
