Middleham Church of England Aided School is a small school catering for children aged from 4 – 11 years old. We aim to give our children healthy roots, to enable them to learn and live fruitful lives: to love one another, to care for the environment in which they are planted and the wider world, and to grow in whatever they do.

"Excellent school!"

We're so grateful to have found Middleham. The school's commitment to the children's well-being and education is outstanding. Our child has thrived in their time there and we've appreciated the regular updates and open communication.

"A wonderful school community!"

We've been at Middleham for 3 years now and I've seen our child grow in confidence. The school's emphasis on aspiration, respect and resilience is really evident in the way the teachers and pupils treat each other. The Harvest Festival and Open Evening were lovely events to be a part of.

"Generally happy with our experience"

We moved to the area mid-pandemic, so it was a bit of a rocky start at Middleham. However, once things settled, we felt the school did a great job of supporting our child. The school council and mental health focus are great initiatives.
