About Spennithorne Church of England Primary School

Welcome to a federation of two schools ( Middleham VA and Spennithorne VC CE Primary School). We are proud of our small schools which cater for children aged from 4 – 11 years old. We work hard to create an environment that nurtures the whole child and allows them to grow in all aspects of their personality.

"A wonderful school community!"

I've been blown away by the support and care shown by the staff at Spennithorne. My child has thrived in this nurturing environment, and I love how they're encouraged to be their best selves. The Harvest Festival was a highlight of the year!

"Some positives, could improve communication"

While my child enjoys their time at Spennithorne, I've found it tricky to get in touch with teachers for updates. The school's values and facilities are great, but I'd like to see more effort in keeping parents informed. Overall, it's a good school, but with some room for improvement.

"Excellent education and values!"

My child had a fantastic time at Spennithorne! The teachers are dedicated and passionate about their work, and the school's emphasis on aspiration, respect, and resilience has stayed with them long after they left. We're so grateful to the school!
