Bowman Academy is a specialist all-through school for pupils aged 4-16 with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. We provide a tailored curriculum designed to prepare pupils to be confident, successful and resilient individuals who make outstanding progress and are prepared for life after school.

"An amazing school for our children"

We are so grateful to have found Bowman Academy for our child. Their emphasis on emotional intelligence and social skills has been a game-changer. The staff are always supportive and the facilities are excellent. We can't recommend this school enough!

"A good experience, but some room for improvement"

We've been pleased with our child's progress at Bowman Academy, but we do feel that the communication with parents could be better. The therapies and extra-curricular activities are excellent, though!

The values of trust, honesty and respect are truly lived out here. Our child feels safe and supported, and the staff are always available to talk. We're so grateful for this wonderful community!

"A great experience for our son"

We were a bit worried about our son's transition to secondary school, but Bowman Academy made it seamless. Their focus on mental health and wellbeing really helped him thrive. We're so proud of the person he's become!
