St. Joseph’s is a Voluntary Academy, which is part of the Our Lady of Lourdes, Catholic Multi-Academy Trust. We are situated on the border of Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire. Our Mission Statement is ‘Trusting in God, Creating Tomorrow, Helping Today’.

"A good school, but some areas for improvement"

We've been generally pleased with St Joseph's, but there are a few areas where we feel the school could improve. The facilities are excellent, but the school's communication with parents can be a bit patchy at times. The teachers are mostly great, but there's been one or two instances where we've felt the children haven't been challenged enough. Overall, we're happy to have our child at St Joseph's, but we do think the school has room to grow.

"A great start to school"

My child started at St Joseph's in Reception and we were a bit nervous, but the transition has been seamless. The teaching staff are warm and engaging, and the classroom environment is welcoming. The school's emphasis on community and inclusivity has made us feel part of a wider family. We're really happy with the school so far.

"A truly supportive school community!"

I have been blown away by the commitment to our children's education and wellbeing at St Joseph's. From the moment my child started, the teachers and staff have been so welcoming and supportive. The emphasis on living out the school's values - trusting in God, creating tomorrow, and helping today - has really resonated with me. I couldn't be prouder of my child's progress!

"Outstanding education and care"

My children attended St Joseph's for several years and I have only praise for the school. The teachers are dedicated and passionate, and the facilities are excellent. The school's commitment to its Catholic values is evident in everything it does, from the daily assemblies to the annual charity events. We were so sad to leave!
