Belsay Primary School

Belsay Primary School is an outstanding school with a committed and enthusiastic staff team. The school's commitment to preparing children for a future full of learning is evident in everything they do. My child has made fantastic friends and loves the extra-curricular activities on offer, such as music and sports. I would highly recommend this school to any parent.

I'm so grateful to have my child at Belsay Primary School. From the moment we walked in, we felt a sense of belonging. The staff are friendly and supportive, and the values of cooperation, effective communication, confidence, self-discipline and self-motivation are truly embedded in the school's ethos. Our child loves Hot Chocolate Fridays and has thrived in the school's caring environment.

I have mixed feelings about Belsay Primary School. On the one hand, the staff were always friendly and supportive, and my child made good progress during their time at the school. However, I felt that the school could have done more to engage with parents and keep us informed about our child's progress. Additionally, the facilities were sometimes in need of maintenance. Overall, I would say that the school is generally good, but with some areas for improvement.
