Co-op Academy Friarswood is an inclusive, loving and caring primary school based in the Westlands in Newcastle-under-Lyme. We have a dedicated and enthusiastic team of staff who support children and families in their journey through the start of their education and learning journey. By providing a rich and broad set of opportunities in a safe and happy environment, children are able to develop every aspect of their character, not just their academic side.

"Excellent preparation for future careers"

As a former parent, I'm delighted to see how well-prepared my child is for their future careers after attending Co-op Academy Friarswood. The emphasis on values such as safe, trust, achieve and resilience has been invaluable, and the range of career-focused visits has been a revelation.

"Fantastic school with wonderful staff!"

I'm so grateful to have my child attend Co-op Academy Friarswood. The staff are always friendly and supportive, and my child is thriving in their learning journey. The woodland area is a particular highlight - the opportunities for exploration and discovery are endless!

"Some great aspects, but room for improvement"

While I appreciate the efforts made by Co-op Academy Friarswood to provide a broad and inclusive education, I do feel that there's room for improvement in the way certain aspects are managed. That being said, the staff are generally supportive, and my child enjoys attending school.
