Prudhoe Castle First School

We have been so impressed with Prudhoe Castle First School since our child started in Reception. The facilities are excellent, and the staff are kind and supportive. We love the emphasis on character education and the opportunities for our child to participate in extra-curricular activities. We feel very lucky to have found such a great school!

We have been generally pleased with Prudhoe Castle First School, but there are a few areas where we feel they could improve. The teachers are mostly excellent, but sometimes communication with parents could be better. The facilities are great, and our child loves the Forest School sessions. However, we have noticed that some children in the class can dominate the play, and the school could do more to encourage sharing and turn-taking.

As a parent of a child who has now moved on to Highfield Middle School, I can confidently say that Prudhoe Castle First School provided an exceptional education and care for our child. The teachers were dedicated and enthusiastic, and the school's values of kindness and respect were clearly evident throughout. We are so grateful for the experience and memories we made at PCFS.
