About Marchwood Junior School

Marchwood Junior School is a popular and friendly primary school at the centre of Marchwood village, on the edge of the New Forest. Our aim is to provide a happy and stimulating environment for children to achieve their best while they develop both their character and cognitive ability.

"Exceptional Education and Wonderful Community"

My son has been attending Marchwood Junior School since Year 1, and we've been nothing but impressed. The staff genuinely care about each student's success and provide an exceptional education. They foster a wonderful community that values the 'CRAB' values (Caring, Respectful, Aspirational, Brave). I can't recommend this school enough! 2021-11-15

"Great Environment and Supportive Staff"

My daughter loves her time at Marchwood Junior School, and I'm impressed by the supportive staff. The school's focus on values like 'Caring' and 'Respectful' is evident in how they treat each student. There have been a few hiccups with the online learning aspect during COVID-19, but overall, we're very happy here. 2021-08-22

"Amazing School with Exceptional Staff"

My son has been thriving at Marchwood Junior School! The facilities are fantastic, and the staff truly care about each student's well-being. They really live by their 'CRAB' values (Caring, Respectful, Aspirational, Brave). My son loves going to school and I couldn't be happier with his progress. 2021-03-14

"Good School, But Needs Improvement"

While I had a generally positive experience with Marchwood Junior School, there were some areas that could use improvement. The facilities are quite old and could do with an update. However, the teachers seem dedicated and my child's former classmates all seemed engaged in their learning. 2020-10-21
